Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of Gigcloser. Violation may result in suspension or termination.

1. Prohibited Conduct

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk automated messages not in response to genuine inquiries
  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, experience, or capabilities
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Provide false or misleading information in AI-generated responses
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any individual
  • Violate Upwork's Terms of Service or any other applicable platform terms
  • Circumvent Upwork's payment system or fee structure
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Facilitate discrimination based on any protected characteristic

2. AI Content Standards

When configuring the AI assistant, you must ensure that:

  • Your knowledge base accurately represents your skills, experience, and services
  • The AI is not configured to make false claims about certifications or past work
  • Pricing information is accurate and not deliberately misleading
  • The AI is not configured to disparage competitors
  • The AI is not configured to make guarantees you cannot fulfill

3. Platform Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all connected platform terms. We are not responsible for actions taken by these platforms against your account.

4. Resource Usage

  • Do not consume excessive resources or degrade performance for others
  • Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent limits
  • Do not share credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Do not resell access without written authorization

5. Reporting and Enforcement

Report violations to [email protected]. We may investigate and take action including warnings, suspension, or termination.
